Milan Cathedral

From the 1st August, my family go to Europe for a trip and I am left here for study, I really want to go with them because I never been to Europe once. On Sunday, my brother sent me some photos of Milan Cathedral, and its a really beautiful building.

The fifth largest cathedral in the world with a nice architecture in it, dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente (Saint Mary Nascent), the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Angelo Scola.

The construction began in 1386 by Archbishop Antonio da Saluzzo, it took about six centuries to complete this Gothic cathedral. The Cathedral can fit around 40.000 peoples in it, made by bricks with candoglia marbles, and also contain a lot of monuments and artworks.
